Queensgate is a very popular school with an excellent reputation. The best way for you to decide if Queensgate is the right school for your child is to come and see the school in action.

Reception Open Day
Our Reception Open Day is on Monday 4th November 2024. We will be running two sessions at 9.15am - 10.30am (FULL) and 1.30pm - 2.45pm.
Due to high demand we are only able to allow prospective familes who have a child due to start school in September 2025 to attend these sessions.
The sessions will consist of a 15 minute talk from the Head and then a tour of the school from our current Year 6 pupils.
Nursery Open Mornings
Our Nursery Open Mornings are Monday 27th January 2025 and Friday 31st January 2025 at 10am - 10.30am.
The sessions will consist of a tour our Nursery Classroom and Early Years play area.
Admission to Queensgate (Reception)
Our admissions process is managed by Stockport MBC. All applications are made online and you can find further details here.

Please note that occasionally the LA does allocate places to pupils living outside the catchment area if not all places are filled.
Admission to Nursery
Admissions to our Nursery are managed by Stockport MBC. Applications should be made at https://www.stockport.gov.uk/maintained-nursery-admissions
The Stockport MBC offer allocates a 15 hour place in our Nursery. These 15 hours are either Monday & Tuesday (9am till 3:15pm) and Wednesday morning (9-11:30am) or Wednesday afternoon (12:45-3:15pm) and Thursday & Friday (9am till 3:15pm). Subject to availability, parents/carers can use 30 hour funding for a full time place or purchase an additional hours for their child at a cost of £6 per hour.
Our Before and After School Club is open to Nursery children but places are very limited and cannot be guaranteed.
