Year 3 Home Learning

Summer 2, Week 2, Week beginning 15th June

Hello Year 3!

Hope you are well, managing well and ready for another week of learning! Missing you all! A big shout out to you if you have been working super hard at home on all the tasks I have been setting up for you each week. Thank you to all the wonderful work you have sent to me in the past - it always puts a huge smile on my face.

Today Queensgate Primary School is launching a new secure online platform called Seesaw! It’s designed for you to access your home learning tasks and to share and celebrate your learning with me.

Your parents/carers will have received an email providing you with Seesaw information, including your unique text code.

To enable you to access the individual account for you will need to:

  • Log onto http://app.seesaw.me on a computer or install the Seesaw Class App on an iOS or Android device
  • Tap “I’m a student”
  • Type in your code (received via email) to access your Seesaw account
  • Using this code, gives you permission for you to use Seesaw
  • This will create a secure log-in.  Remember to keep this code like a password and do not share it with anyone else.

Your home learning overview has been attached to this blog and you will also receive it as a ‘class announcement’ in your Seesaw inbox. When you use Seesaw to view a pdf, please press ‘Original View’ - this will allow you to click on any hyperlinks on the pdf.

Each week, I will provide feedback on one piece of work set through ‘Seesaw’. This week’s feedback task will be your English home learning task based on the Book of Hopes’. This will be found in your ‘Activities’ folder to respond to. Please upload any other fabulous home learning you have completed through Seesaw by using the green ‘Add’ button - you can upload any photos of your learning, videos and drawings.

Within the 'activities' folder, you'll find your weekly teacher check-in video with me.

I look forward to seeing all your hard work!

Have a good week and continue to take care.
