Year 6 Home Learning

Date: 10th May 2019 @ 3:40pm

Year 6, you are magnificent people.

Thank you for all of your hard work and focus. Your attitude to everything has been amazing. We are all very proud of your efforts. You are a credit to the school, to your families and to yourselves. The SATs you are sitting don’t and won’t define your time at Queensgate, or in Year 6, but your hunger and thirst to be successful can only be applauded. You are all individually brilliant, with strengths and interests in many varied and different ways, many of them totally unrelated to life in school!  So keep being fabulous people.

My home learning tasks for you this weekend are to relax, get lots of rest, lots of good sleep, and do something fun.

I know lots of you were keen to squeeze some last-minute revision and have the resources you need. If you are planning on doing some last-minute revision, make sure it doesn’t compromise any of my advice above! I'll blog separately about the spelling rules.

Breakfast Club starts at 8:30. Arrive at the Year 6 door for 8:25 and we'll let you in. If you have any special food requirements and want to bring in something from home, that's absolutely fine- but no nuts.

If you want to bring in a good luck mascot, remember it can't be anything too big or have writing on it.

Thanks guys

Mr K
