Year 1: We will remember them

With 11th November 2018 marking the end of the First World War, and the children donating to the British Legion Poppy Day we asked the children to find out about their family connections to the forces or any wars. A personal link will always making learning more relevant.

We have been touched with the stories that have come back, which the children shared with the class, along with the photos.  So in Year 1 the class MP's laid our own poppy wreath and we held a one minute silence to remember them all and give thanks for what they have done.
