Year 3 Home Learning

Summer 2, Week 5, Week beginning 6th July

Hello everyone!

It has been so good speaking to you during our recent phone call. I’m glad that you are continuing to be safe, well and positive. Remember, you will have good days and bad days and this is ok - I have them both, too and it’s good to talk about them. Keep all your well-being items and memories close so you can always remember the happy things in life! A huge shout out to you for sending me your well-being boxes, answering all the questions about perspectives and all your other home learning sent.

We must all make a collective class effort to climb back up the Spelling Shed charts. Please make sure you practise your spellings as often as possible and help get our class back to the top!

This week’s home learning feedback task is based on Science. Many of you have already worked incredibly hard on your Plants Science home learning from previous weeks. You know so much already from your understanding of parts of a plant and their functions; to parts of a flower; and to the life cycle of a plant! This week’s lesson is based on how water is transported through the plant. Please focus on your continuous cursive letters that I know you can do and do very well as this is also a high expectation that I will be looking out for.

Your home learning overview has been attached to this blog and you will also receive it as a ‘class announcement’ in your Seesaw inbox. When you use Seesaw to view a pdf, please press ‘Original View’ - this will allow you to click on any hyperlinks on the pdf.

Within the 'activities' folder, you'll find all your tasks and your fourth weekly teacher check-in video with me.

I look forward to seeing all your super Science home learning!

Have a good week and continue to take care.

Mr Berger-North
