Year 1 Home Learning - Week 11 -29.6.2020

Date: 25th Jun 2020 @ 4:54pm

Hello everyone!

It's been a lovely sunny week that has seen many of us return to school, although it looks a bit different to when we were last there. The Year 1 bubbles have taken over the Year 2, Year 3 and Year 4 classrooms and it seems to rather suit them! All the teachers have been really impressed with how well everyone has settled back in.

Some of the Year 1 children are carrying on working from home for a bit longer, and we have really enjoyed seeing your work, photos and videos on 'Seesaw' so please keep them coming! But we would love to see things from everyone too.

Here are some new home learning tasks for the week ahead. Remember if you are learning at home you can try everything; if you are back in school try to do the activities marked with a star. This week it is spelling shed, reading and science. The science is our feedback task and all about the season of  'Summer'. You will need to turn detective to see what changes have occurred since spring. What plants are growing now? Have you seen any animals that weren't around in Spring? Mrs Mott has definitely seen some in her garden. How has the weather changed? Remember you can draw, write or even stick on examples of what you find, or why not be a presenter and show us what you find on a video! We are looking forward to seeing what you discover.

Have fun and don't forget the sunscreen and a sunhat if you go out.

Mrs Clough, Mrs Mott and Mrs Ramsden-Smith
